Just in Case

I'm not sure if you've read about the recent hubub regarding Facebook recently. I've been a member for over 3 years and am excited that the photography world is now using it to network.

However, people are starting to talk about the new Terms of Service regarding pictures, or any other content for that matter, that are posted using their site. Basically, the consumerist site is stressing over the fact that Facebook can use your photos (even with your photo logo cropped out!) for their own services. Obviously, this affects photographers who post parts of their portfolios on Facebook. I have, however, read Facebook's response and it now sounds like they're changing their tunes a bit and may re-word their terms. This 'conflict' might be resolved quickly, but just in case, watch what you post in the meantime! :)

I saw the same thing. I would think they will change their tune, but we shall see. IN the mean time, I am not going to upload any more photos.
