Ni-Jyu-Go

Ni-Jyu-Go means "twenty five" in Japanese. I know this has been circulating on everyone's myspace, facebook and blogs and I've never done this and figured why not share it on my blog as well?! So here are 25 random facts about me:

1. I never learned how to crawl as a child. My mom says I went straight to walking.

2. I worked at Hallmark, Weinerschnitzel and Marie Calendar's throughout high school.

3. I have been on 2 game shows: "Win Ben Stein's Money" and "WinTuition"

4. Abe and I dated for 5 months before we got engaged.

5. I wanted to be a dentist up until my junior year in college when I realized chemistry was waaay too hard for me. I could only imagine dental school.

6. I drink fruit smoothies at least 4 times a week (no matter how hot or cold it is outside).

7. I studied Spanish all through high school and college because I thought I would somehow live in Spain but now speak Japanese everyday. :(

8. I practice doing stuff with my left hand all the time (brushing my teeth, signing my name, etc.) just in case I ever break my right arm and can't use it for a while.

9. I am missing a molar. It just never grew in.

10. I've been to Hawaii 5 times. I adore everything about it...including Li-Hing anything.

11. I rarely finish anything I eat or drink. I always leave just a little bit left over...it's not a diet thing. I just feel sad when things are done. Weird huh?

12. When I was a child, my dream job was to be a cashier so my mom bought me a real cash register and I used to play "cash register" all day. I still have her driver's license number memorized because of when she'd write me fake checks.

13. I play the ukulele when I'm bored.

14. I'm a mixture of Mexican, Japanese and Puerto Rican.

15. I learned how to surf the day after I broke up with my first boyfriend. He told me I'd never learn how because I was a girl...I proved him wrong the next day!

16. Some jobs I had after graduating from college: MTV intern, bartender, substitute teacher, baseball scorekeeper, junior high school teacher.

17. My favorite Rite-Aid ice cream flavor: Chocolate Malted Crunch.

18. When I was young, I used to love the sound of the computer keys clicking so my mom would call me and let me hear her type :)

19. I attended Catholic School up until my last year in high school. I wanted to experience public school for just one year, and it changed my life.

20. I've ridden an elephant before.

21. My left foot is about a half-size larger than my right.

22. I did a skit on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno while in college. He called me a bitch on live TV!

23. I idolized Pippi Longstocking when I was younger.

24. I love interacting with people on a constant basis. I couldn't imagine doing a job where this wasn't the case.

25. I was obsessed with basketball in my youth. I watched every single Laker game during their period of "rebuilding". I was made fun of at school but didn't care. I still love my team :)
